My Story
I DIDN'T JUST STUDY NONPROFITS—I LIVED ONE.
Years ago, I felt a divine tug to launch an international nonprofit in Haiti—a nation burdened by civil unrest, political instability, and deep systemic challenges. I knew I was called to serve, but I didn’t know where to start. The process felt like navigating a maze in the dark. Legal forms, IRS classifications, board development—it was overwhelming. I was afraid. Afraid of failing. Afraid of doing it wrong. Afraid that the vision God gave me would never see the light of day.
And yet, I pressed forward. Through prayer, trial and error, and sheer determination, I built something that mattered. But I also learned that purpose-driven women—especially those over 40—deserve more than just inspiration. They need clarity, strategy, and emotional support to birth the vision within them.
That’s why I founded Patricia Christian Consulting and created The Nonprofit Midwife Academy™ and BirthTheVision Academy™. These platforms are guides created from my soul—spaces where faith meets strategy, and where women can overcome fear, confusion, and mental fatigue to launch nonprofits that transform lives.
